Sheri Merchen

Biblical Counselor

Sheri grew up in Rapid City and started her relationship with Christ at the age of 7. She attended National College for some time and then married the love of her life, Steve. God has blessed them with 3 wonderful children, one amazing son-in-law, and 3 grandchildren. After moving to Wyoming in 1996, she worked with many youth organizations and loved every crazy minute of it. In 2017 God called her into counseling. Sheri started her counseling training at the Biblical Institute of Illinois and continued training through Christian Life Ministries. In 2020 she went on staff with Set Free Ministries in Gillette, WY. There she obtained Board Certification through the American Association of Christian Counselors. While at Set Free, God used her to lead several grief support groups. Her passion is for everyone to know their true identity in Christ, lean on His word, and walk in grace, freedom and restoration.
